A Big Shout out to our Black Knight Band Color Guard this weekend! They placed 1st in their division and first overall at the West Portsmouth Band Competition.

The Point Pleasant High School Choral Department would like to extend an invitation to: PPHS Alumni (OF ALL AGES), current/past staff, local first responders, and retired/active duty service members to join the Choirs in the singing of the National Anthem at the October 6th Homecoming Game. You will also get a chance to premier a new school song, “Above the Rivers’ Joining” written by the Point Pleasant High School Chamber Choir! We will have two (not mandatory) rehearsals on October 3 & 5 from 5:30-6:00 on the Point Pleasant High School Auditorium stage, enter through the front of the building.

Mason County GEAR UP Facilitators Carla Grady, Teresa Murphy, Scarlet Enos, and Jacklyn Kennedy attended the GEAR UP Program Staff Meeting September 14th Program Staff Meeting at the Marshall University Bill Noe Flight School! They received a tour of the facility and got to learn about opportunities in aviation for students, participate in a flight simulation, and have a chance to win one of three aircraft rides! #GEARUPworks
